Hi Elizabeth! I’m reading your article and it’s been very helpful! I froze my granddaughter’s placenta at birth and she’ll be 2yrs old in July. I’m going to plant it with a fig tree bc we love figs. This was such a lovely post! I am looking forward to planting my son’s placenta to celebrate his first birthday. I have a tree picked out–a beautiful oak tree in our front yard–but after reading a few posts, am worried about the potency of the placenta. Should I be concerned about planting the placenta beneath an older tree (30+ years is my guess)?
